## Summary

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is undertaking a tender for the Provision of Legal Services, classified under the legal services industry. The procurement process is currently complete, having been awarded on 25th February 2022. This multi-provider framework agreement is estimated to involve over £3,800,000 of expenditure over its lifespan. The contract spans an initial two years with a possibility of extension for up to four years, depending on performance. The framework allows NTU to place specific assignments with selected suppliers as needed within the outlined service areas, which include Property, Construction, Human Resources, Dispute Resolution, and others. The tendering process followed a selective procurement method, specifically a restricted procedure.

This tender presents lucrative opportunities for law firms, especially those specialising in areas such as property law, construction law, and employment law. Businesses that possess strong technical capabilities and a track record of service delivery will be well-positioned to compete effectively for the various lots available. The framework encourages collaboration with NTU and aims to deliver high-value legal services, making it particularly attractive for larger legal service providers and SMEs focused on the education sector.

## Notice

Nottingham Trent University wishes to establish a multi-provider agreement for the provision of Legal Services. The University will work closely with the chosen Suppliers throughout the term of the Framework Agreement to achieve greater value for money for the University. It is estimated that NTU spends over the framework lifespan of PS3,800,000 on Legal Services and is inviting Suppliers to Tender for the provision of these services under an Agreement that will run initially for two years, up to a maximum period of four years, subject to satisfactory performance. There is no guarantee of volume or usage levels under the Agreement. The Framework Agreement will allow qualifying firms to supply the services identified in the technical specification, on the agreed terms and for the duration of the Framework Agreement period. NTU will engage Providers by placing individual assignments/instructions under the terms of the Agreement.
