HEIW commissions both pre-registration and post registration qualifications for both the future and current NHS Wales workforce. Through undertaking the review of education, HEIW has identified a requirement to procure the provision of Post Graduate Modules in Genomics Education and Training Services. HEIW are seeking to procure more inclusive and accessible genomics education and training services for the wider NHS Wales workforce in order to improve genomics awareness and understanding. This procurement will consist of 7 Lots that will be reflective of each individual module HEIW intends to commission. One education provider will be awarded each Lot, and there will be no limit on the number of Lots providers can bid for. ### Lot Information Genomics of Common and Rare Inherited Diseases Module This Procurement governs the provision of post graduate modules in genomics education and training services. The module must be worth 20 academic credits at level 7 and be delivered via distance learning to NHS Wales employed members of staff. The range of commissioning numbers is detailed within the ITT, as well as the course content for: Lot 1 - Genomics of Common and Rare Inherited Diseases Module. Renewal: This contract will be subject to renewal at the discretion of the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority may exercise its option to extend for a further two years in Two 12 month intervals Application of Genomics in Infectious Diseases Module This Procurement governs the provision of post graduate modules in genomics education and training services.
