## Summary

The NHS Supply Chain, operated by DHL Supply Chain Limited on behalf of Supply Chain Coordination Ltd (SCCL), is initiating a procurement process for a framework agreement titled "Single Use Tourniquet." This process falls under the medical consumables industry category and is located in the United Kingdom. Currently at the active tender stage, the procurement is due to close on 2nd September 2021, with contracts anticipated to be awarded shortly after the bid opening on 3rd September 2021. The expected purchasing value over the initial 24 months is approximately GBP 7.3 million, with an option to extend this for a total of 48 months, potentially doubling the value to around GBP 14.6 million.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in the manufacturing or supply of medical consumables, particularly those specialising in single-use devices. Companies of various sizes, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and larger organisations, are encouraged to participate. Success in this tender could not only secure significant contracts but also foster long-term relationships with the NHS, providing a stable avenue for further growth within the healthcare sector.
