The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) requires Technical Support Services to assist with the running of the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF). BEIS is procuring engineering-related scientific and technical services which includes the following: - Assessing grant applications and advising on awards - Agreeing and verifying project baselines - Monitoring & Evaluation of benefits realised by projects

Lot 1

BEIS is procuring engineering-related scientific and technical services which includes the following: 1. Assessment of grant applications against technical and non-technical criteria (i) These will cover both energy efficiency projects (such as heat recovery and process optimisation) and deep de-carbonisation (such as carbon capture and fuel switching). (ii) Applications will be from the manufacturing sector and data centres, but the scope may be revised in future windows to encompass a wider range of industrial activities. Companies of any size are eligible to apply. (iii) For applications which require additional scrutiny, some technical resource may be needed to sit on interview panels. 2. Agreeing and verifying project baselines 3. Monitoring and evaluation of benefits realised by projects

Options: The Contract is for an initial 24-month period, however, it contains two 1-year options to extend at the Authority's sole discretion (e.g 2+1+1).

Renewal: It is possible that the contract will be renewed in the future to continue the monitoring and evaluation services.
