This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in the health and social care sectors, particularly those specialising in mobility aids, equipment provision, and related support services. Companies that focus on sustainability and carbon reduction practices will be especially well-suited to compete, given Somerset's ambitious climate goals. Engaging with local authorities on service provision can enhance collaboration and improve service delivery, positioning businesses as partners in the public sector, which can ultimately lead to growth and new contracts.
