No reasonable alternative exists for this procurement The Clarity LIMS system is exclusively available from Illumina. It is the only commercially available LIMS system that is specifically designed for exactly this type of complex next-generation sequencing workflow/dataflow. It is completely integrated with the Illumina reagent kits and instrument systems that are part of the ALMS contract. This system is essential for delivery of the SARS-CoV-2 Pathogen Sequencing service. The absence of competition is not a result of the artificial narrowing of the parameters of the procurement.
