Lot 1

The Service will cover the geographic area of Leicester. Interventions include; advice, information and guidance, assessment and care coordination, harm reduction and needle exchange, psycho-social interventions, clinical and pharmacological interventions, primary and secondary healthcare liaison and support, peer mentoring and volunteer programme, pharmacy liaison and support, mutual aid and referral to and arrangements for inpatient detoxification and residential rehabilitation.

Options: The proposed contract will be for an initial period of 4 years to commence on 1st April 2022, with the following options to extend, subject to satisfactory performance outcomes and agreement by the Authority for two further periods of up to no more than 24 months in total and thereafter a 1 further period of up to no more than 12 months in total taking the contract term to a maximum of 7 years.
