The EDAs will have existing assessment competence from which, with the necessary familiarisation and training that will be provided by the DVSA, will be able to be successfully fast-tracked to qualify as a DVSA examiner and conduct tests consistently to the procedures and standards set out by the Agency in the DT1 document which can be found at Gov.uk. Resource is to be supplied on a flexible, contingent basis that can be increased or reduced in response to levels of demand.
