Lot 1

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAV) has a requirement for a commercial non-hazardous waste collection and disposal service for 94 sites across the Cardiff area. The current contract expires on the 30th September 2021. This VEAT is being issued to enable CAV to align with the all Wales tender process that will be undertaken by the Utilities and Transport team in NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership. The contract will be awarded to City of Cardiff Council's Trade Waste Service for 11 months. The contract will expire on the 31st August 2022.

### Procurement Information

The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board's (CAV) contract with the City of Cardiff Council's Trade Waste Service will be extended from October 2021 to 31st August 2022. The extension of this contract will allow for CAV to be part of an all Wales contract that will potentially cover all NHS Wales Health Boards and Trusts.
