## Summary

The Common Services Agency, commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland, is seeking providers for its Workforce Specialist Services contract. This procurement falls under the services category, specifically classified as counselling services (CPV: 85312320). The contract is set to run initially for 10 months, commencing on 1st December 2021 and ending on 30th September 2022, with potential extensions of up to 24 months. The procurement method employed is a limited award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition, with the contract currently in the completed stage.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses that specialise in mental health support and counselling services, particularly those experienced in working with regulated health and social care professionals who may face issues like addiction or mental health struggles. Companies offering comprehensive, confidential support services—especially those with specialties in treating addictions and capable of providing in-patient treatment options—will be well-suited to compete for this contract. With the growing demand for mental health services, businesses in this industry can leverage this opportunity to expand their offerings within the Scottish workforce.
