The proposed technology-driven taxi service will provide a transport service for Council staff (mainly Social Workers) to travel mainly within the London Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth, but may also include travel to neighbouring boroughs and other parts of the country.

The London Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth ('Councils') are carrying out a market engagement exercise to help inform the commissioning strategy and the optimal route to market in relation to a new technology-driven taxi service for Council staff. The Councils' overall objective is to reduce transport costs by identifying and working in partnership with taxi firms that have adopted recent digital and technological advancements in their service provision. The proposed taxi service will provide a transport service for Council staff (mainly Social Workers) to travel mainly within the two boroughs, but may also include travel to other parts of the country. The Councils are keen to hear from all interested providers that can deliver a technology-driven taxi service. We are seeking written responses to the questions set out in the Market Testing Questionnaire which is available on the Delta e-sourcing portal. Please note this Notice is not a call for competition.
