## Summary

The NHS England is seeking suppliers for the "Hepatitis C National Testing Portal" as part of its planning phase to enhance community health services. This procurement, classified under the CPV code 85323000, aims to develop a comprehensive digital solution that facilitates at-home testing, treatment access, and contact tracing for Hepatitis C. Key details include a total estimated value of £1.5 million and a deadline for expressions of interest by 12pm on Monday 6th September. The project is based in Leeds, UK, and aligns with the UK government's ambition to eliminate Hepatitis C by 2025, adhering to the WHO target of 2030.

This tender presents a lucrative opportunity for businesses specialising in digital health solutions, pathology services, and software development. Companies with capabilities in managing web portals for health services, logistics for lab testing, and experience in contact tracing methodologies would be particularly well-suited to compete. Suppliers should have the capacity to support varied user needs and existing clinic software across the 22 Operational Delivery Networks in England, thus allowing them to contribute effectively to the national health initiative.

## Notice

The Hepatitis C programme is aiming to achieve elimination in England by the WHO target of 2030 and has a UK government ambition to achieve this by 2025. There are 22 Operational Delivery Networks (ODNs) covering England who are responsible for case finding and treating people with Hepatitis C. At risk groups have been identified and are being prioritised for remote (at home) testing and treatment services. , However they all have different user needs, digital capability and understanding of Hepatitis C. These groups need to be able to order tests, receive results, treatment and have any at risk contacts traced to prevent spread of infection. In order to ensure these user groups receive testing in a timely manner, a discovery needs to be undertaken and different solutions need to be designed and tested
