## Summary

The procurement process involves NHS Forth Valley, which is seeking to continue services for GP IT Systems crucial for patient administration and clinical applications across 51 practices in the NHS Forth Valley Board region. This process is currently at the Award stage, with the contract valued at £610,000 having been signed on 21 July 2021. The procurement falls under the industry category of IT services and is executed through a limited procurement method, specifically an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. Delivery addresses are situated in the region of UKM76, and there is an opportunity to extend the current services for a period of 24 months while transitioning to new systems provided under the framework agreement by National Services Scotland.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses involved in IT services, particularly those that specialise in consulting, software development, and medical applications. Companies that can demonstrate compliance with essential functional requirements and have experience in delivering IT solutions to healthcare organisations will be well-suited to compete for contracts associated with this procurement. As NHS systems are transitioning, there is potential for growth in providing ongoing support and development services, making this an attractive opportunity for businesses looking to expand within the public health sector.
