## Summary

Warwickshire County Council is overseeing a public procurement process titled "Warwickshire Recovery & Investment Fund: External Fund Management Services - Local Communities & Enterprise." The contract aims to distribute £140 million over five years, targeting support for small businesses, start-ups, and social enterprises within the financial and insurance services industry. This procurement is currently in the active stage, with a submission deadline set for 4th October 2021, after which bids will be evaluated. The chosen external fund manager will administer loans and other financial investments, focusing on micro and small enterprises with fewer than 50 employees.

This tender presents significant opportunities for SMEs involved in financial services, particularly those with experience in fund management, loan administration, and community enterprise support. Businesses that specialise in providing services to small businesses, social enterprises, and start-ups are well-positioned to compete for this contract. With a comprehensive responsibility for setting up and managing the fund, a successful bidder could not only secure substantial funding but also play a vital role in facilitating the economic recovery and growth of the Warwickshire community.

## Notice

(likely to be in the region of PS40 million). Warwickshire County Council ('the Council') is seeking an External Fund Manager to manage one element of the Warwickshire Recovery and Investment Fund (WRIF); the Local Communities and Enterprise Pillar. This ITT relates to the requirement for the Local Communities and Enterprise Pillar.
