HEE have been pleased to work with Clinical Psychology Doctorate programmes over the past two years to deliver this expansion alongside other important developmental projects. We are looking to undertake a retendering process to support the future sustainability and expansion of this vital workforce, to reach our priority NHS Long Term Plan ambitions.To this end, Health Education England will be undertaking a full retender exercise for the four-year Clinical Psychology Doctorate training programme for cohorts entering from September 2022 onwards. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention.It is our intention to hold a market engagement events on the morning of 30 September 2021 from 11am to 12.30pm Clinical PsychologyAt the event there will be an opportunity to discuss our plans and consult with parties interested in potentially bidding to deliver the doctoral programme. The event will take the form of an online presentation and discussion organised through MS Teams and will outline our current thinking, the anticipated procurement process, general discussion, and requests for information. The process will also provide an opportunity to network with others providing education and training in this field.
