## Summary

The procurement process, led by United Utilities Water Limited, focuses on the installation services of electrical equipment, specifically Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCPs). This initiative is designed to support the transition to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) for the company's fleet of approximately 1,400 vans. The tender, titled "PRO004419-Services-Framework-EV Charging Infrastructure," is currently in the planning stage, with a response deadline set for 22 September 2021. The project will take place at more than 150 locations in the north west of England, and the procurement method follows a traditional tendering process.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in electric vehicle infrastructure, installation services, and electrical equipment supply. Companies that specialise in the design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of charging stations, as well as those that provide associated infrastructure services, would be particularly well-suited to compete. Collaborating with United Utilities on this project could enhance a business’s portfolio and open doors to further contracts in the growing field of sustainable transportation solutions.
