### Lot Information

Foster Family

It is anticipated that most requests for service will be made under this Lot. The information below lists the minimum requirements for children and young people living with a foster family, however it should be remembered that all children and young people require nurture and support - particularly those who have experienced trauma and are no longer living with their birth family. Children and young people placed under Lot 1 may exhibit some challenging behaviour as a result of their experiences and it is important that Foster Carers are appropriately skilled and supported by their agency to manage any challenges faced by the child or young person - challenging behaviour does not mean that a Lot 2 placement is automatically required, any concerns that arise should be discussed with the placing authority. Additional information: Tenderers should note that if the Council wish to carry out new services at the end of this contract, which area repetition of the services detailed in this notice, then those additional services may be awarded using the negotiated procedure without publication of a notice in accordance with regulation 32(9) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015

Foster Family with Additional Support

Lot 2 may be used where additional support is required. The detail of additional support provided by the agency under a Lot 2 shall be specified by the agency on responding to a referral, this could be on an ongoing basis for the child or young person where a specific need has been assessed, or could be used for a time limited period to support the child or young person and their foster family and avoid a breakdown of placement resulting in a move for the child or young person. All services included within a Lot 1 Foster Family, along with additional requirements in accordance with the child's individual assessed needs including but not limited to: Additional information: Tenderers should note that if the council wish to carry out new services at the end of this contract, which are a repetition of similar services detailed in this notice, then those additional services may be procured using the negotiated procedure without publication of a notice in accordance with regulation 32 (9) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Foster Family with Intensive Support

Lot 3 may be used where additional support is required - this could be on an ongoing basis for the child or young person where a specific need has been assessed, or could be used for a time limited period to support the child/young person and their foster family and avoid a breakdown of placement resulting in a move for the child/young person. Additional information: Tenderers should note that if the council wish to carry out new services at the end of this contract, which are a repetition of similar services detailed in this notice, then those additional services may be procured using the negotiated procedure without publication of a notice in accordance with regulation 32 (9) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Parent and Child

A vital aspect of Parent and Child fostering is insuring positive parenting strategies are modelled by Foster Carers who will support and impart positive parenting including but not limited to routines, play and supporting attachment in line with the child's plan. Additional information: Tenderers should note that if the council wish to carry out new services at the end of this contract, which are a repetition of similar services detailed in this notice, then those additional services may be procured using the negotiated procedure without publication of a notice in accordance with regulation 32 (9) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Parent and Child Assessment

All services included within a Lot 4 - Specialist Placement - Parent and child fostering placement. The assessment will be in the format agreed by the purchaser and be of sufficient quality, to be used in court if necessary for care proceedings Additional information: Tenderers should note that if the council wish to carry out new services at the end of this contract, which are a repetition of similar services detailed in this notice, then those additional services may be procured using the negotiated procedure without publication of a notice in accordance with regulation 32 (9) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
