The RTCs are expected to deliver outpatients, diagnostics, day case treatments and some inpatients (the latter for Orthopaedic patients only). The full scope of the scheme is unprecedented here in North Wales and will require a successful bidder to describe all potential elements of Build, Equip, commissioning and delivery of a full clinical service, including staffing for both clinical and non-clinical elements. The plans remain flexible at this stage as the programme is ongoing.
