## Summary

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) at the British High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, is planning to launch a tender for the South Africa-UK International Economic Partnership (IEP). This procurement will focus on foreign economic-aid-related services, with an estimated value of £4,000,000. The call for competition will occur once the scope of work is thoroughly defined, with initial policy priorities including debt sustainability, a green recovery post-COVID, and enhancing trade and investment flows. An Early Market Engagement Event is scheduled for 14th October 2021, where interested suppliers can learn more about the opportunity and the registration process on the FCDO Supplier Portal.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in international development and economic governance. Companies specialising in economic policy research, sustainability consulting, or trade facilitation would be well-suited to compete for this contract. Engaging with the FCDO can lead to long-term partnerships aimed at fostering economic recovery and collaboration between the UK and South Africa, making it an attractive prospect for firms looking to expand their footprint in the public sector and enhance their service delivery in international contexts.
