## Summary

NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group is conducting a direct award for the Shakespeare Road Medical Practice APMS Contract, which falls under medical practice services. The nine-month contract, with a potential three-month extension, is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2021. The procurement process follows a limited method without prior publication of a call for competition. Key dates include a review period concluding on 11th October 2021, after the related VEAT notice publication, and the award was signed on 30th September 2021.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly for organisations with established links in general practice and secondary care. Companies capable of swiftly mobilising resources and providing robust primary care services will be particularly well-suited to compete. As the contract ensures continuity of service and may explore additional funding for new care models, businesses engaged in similar areas of healthcare could benefit from this tender.
