Following a tender exercise a Framework Agreement was entered into between the Contracting Authority and Westminster Council by 1st April 2023. London Borough of Ealing is a member of the Consortium. The Call Off contract from the Framework Agreement is between London Borough of Ealing and NOTTINGHAM REHAB LIMITED (TRADING AS NRS HEALTHCARE). It includes a local contract between NRS Healthcare and LBE for the provision of Telecare equipment and minor adaptations. The total value over 5 years is estimated as PS16.5m The contract allows London borough of Ealing to purchase Community Equipment. Community Equipment services provide equipment and small adaptations to support people living at home. Examples are riser/recliner chairs, bathroom and toilet adaptions and aids, pressure mattresses and sensory aids. The service is available to all Ealing residents who are assessed by social care and NHS professionals as needing it, including children. People using the service may be older adults, people with physical disabilities, sensory impairment or long term health conditions, or people who are autistic and/or have a learning disabilities. As well as supporting people to live independently at home, community equipment can reduce the need for care and support and delay the need for more intensive support or treatment. Community equipment can reduce falls which can lead to hospital admission and support timely discharge from hospital when a person is recovering.

### Lot Information

Integrated Community Equipment

The Service Provider will be responsible for the provision of an Integrated Community Equipment Service, which may include (but not be limited to) the delivery, installation, recycling and maintenance of Community Equipment. It will be imperative that the Service Provider has robust IT systems to facilitate effective stock management, reporting and delivery of the service.

Specialist Equipment

The Service Provider will be responsible for the provision, delivery, installation, recycling and maintenance of specialist items (i.e., non catalogue items of equipment).

Pre-Planned Maintenance of Community Equipment

The Service Provider will be responsible for ensuring specific safety testing requirements of Health and Safety legislation covering lifting equipment - Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and electrical testing equipment - Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) are complied with and are up to date.

Telecare

The Service Provider will be responsible for the provision, delivery, installation, recycling, maintenance, monitoring and response to Telecare items of equipment.
