## Summary

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) is conducting an active tender for the "Digital Skills Bootcamp," classified under the CPV code 80400000, which encompasses adult and other education services. This public procurement falls within the services category and is set in the UKD7 region. The procurement method is 'open', allowing for wide participation, while the tender period concludes on 9th November 2021. Interested parties are invited to submit their bids through electronic channels as outlined in the submission details.

This opportunity is particularly advantageous for training providers specialising in digital education, such as those offering courses in Digital Marketing, Full Stack Web Development, Software Development, Infrastructure Technician training, Digital Design, AutoCAD, and Cyber Security. Businesses of varying sizes, including SMEs and large institutions active in the educational sector, are well-positioned to compete. Securing a contract in this initiative could significantly enhance a provider's visibility and capacity to meet local employment needs within the growing digital landscape.

## Notice

The Digital Skills for the Workplace Project Team sit in the Skills & Apprenticeship Hub and are part of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA). The Digital Skills for the Workplace pilot project was developed in September 2020 as part of the Department for Education's (DfE) Digital Bootcamps pilot. The Liverpool City Region (LCR) was one of just six areas nationally to trial the skills training aimed at helping participants to find jobs in the growing digital and tech sector and help employers to fill digital skills gaps in their business. LCRCA has recently secured a further PS1.2m funding from the Department for Education to deliver Digital Skills Bootcamps across LCR which are part of the Government's Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs initiative and therefore extend the LCRCA Digital Skills for the Workplace to 31st March 2022.
