### Procurement Information

Babcock Land Defence Ltd, acting as agent for the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to negotiate a Single Source contract with Ian Edgar (Liverpool) Ltd for the supply of Associated Weapon Consumables for Small Arms and Light Weapons. This contract shall be for 7 years and will not include extension option years. The Authority intends to award this Contract using the Negotiated Procedure Without Prior Publication pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 (the "Regulations") on the basis that, for technical reasons, the Contract can only be awarded to Ian Edgar (Liverpool) Ltd. This is because the Authority understands that Ian Edgar (Liverpool) Ltd are the sole UK authorised distributor for the items in scope of this procurement. This notice is not for expressions of interest, therefore please do not apply to be invited to tender. The notice advises that the UK Ministry of Defence has decided to negotiate a contract directly with Ian Edgar (Liverpool) Ltd on a single source basis and is published for reasons of transparency only.
