The estimated, total value of the contract is PS3.2m(ex VAT). The contract is due to expire 14 months after its commencement date. It is considered that this contract can be entered into by the UK MOD using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice under Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 (SI 1848). This is on the basis that for technical reasons the contract may be awarded only to Raytheon UK.
