## Summary

The Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to procure services for Autism Assessments, specifically targeting children and young people aged 2 to 11. The initiative aims to deliver face-to-face clinics in West and North Kent over a six-month period, starting from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, with a planned minimum of 450 assessments (75 per month). This contract process, categorised under health services, has been awarded without prior publication due to urgent needs, with a maximum budget of £675,000.

This tender presents an opportunity for healthcare providers, particularly those specialising in paediatric and mental health services, to grow their business in the public sector. Businesses with expertise in autism diagnostics and a qualified clinical team, including paediatricians, clinical psychologists, and occupational therapists, would be well-positioned to compete in future procurement processes. The focus on a comprehensive, well-documented assessment process emphasises the need for providers to demonstrate experience in delivering quality healthcare services.
