## Summary

The University of East London (UEL) is currently seeking to establish a Minor Works Framework through a tender process. This initiative aims to select up to five general construction companies to undertake various reactive and planned works across three key locations in London, including the Royal Albert Docks and Stratford Campus. The procurement is classified under the construction works category, with an estimated budget of up to £10 million over four years. Interested bidders should note that the tender submission deadline is set for 3rd December 2021, with an anticipated award period beginning 26th November 2021.

This framework presents a significant opportunity for general construction companies looking to expand their portfolio in the education sector. Businesses with a minimum annual turnover of £3 million, specialising in minor construction works, maintenance, and refurbishment, would be well-positioned to compete. The successful contractors will engage in various projects, promoting sustainability and efficiency while delivering essential services to UEL's campuses, thus potentially enhancing their reputation and operational capacity within the marketplace.
