## Summary

Translink, based in Belfast, is initiating a market engagement for the procurement of Road/Rail Plant and Equipment, relevant to the rail infrastructure upgrades in Northern Ireland. ## Notice

Due to the forecasted Translink capital plan of works to deliver rail infrastructure upgrades, improvements, and ongoing maintenance in Northern Ireland, we are seeking to identify a company(ies) whom can facilitate the Supply, Operation and Maintenance of the required railway equipment. This is to ensure there is sufficient resources available in order to carry out the capital works as planned alongside the regular maintenance and ongoing inspection type works.

Before embarking on the procurement, Translink wish to engage with the marketplace to gather intelligence which will inform the Procurement Strategy for this contract which will involve seeking a supplier to Supply, Operate and maintain an RRV fleet to include RR Excavators, RR Trailers and other items of Road Rail Plant currently being investigated for use on NIR capital works programmes and projects. Translink plans to hold a virtual interview with each interested supplier lasting no longer than 30 minutes at the end of November 2021 - exact dates to be arranged. Interested suppliers are requested to email their contact details to Mike Kerr at michael.kerr@translink.co.uk NO LATER THAN Friday 12th November 2021. Additional information: Suppliers registering their interest in participating in this exercise should note that: . . 1. This Notice is to initiate a market engagement and. information gathering exercise and does not indicate the start of a procurement exercise. It is instead intended to act as an informal market research document providing a brief synopsis of Translinks' future requirements.
