## Summary

The public procurement process for the calibration service of ionisation radiation portable instruments, titled "UKRI - RE21211," was initiated by UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) on behalf of UK Research and Innovation. This tender falls under the services category, specifically focused on repair and maintenance services, and was located in Swindon, UK. The procurement method employed was an open procedure, and although the tender was actively pursuing bids, it has been marked as cancelled, with no successful bids awarded. The deadline for bid submission was set for 13th December 2021 at 11:00.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses specialising in calibration services, particularly those certified by UKAS, to engage with a significant public sector contract. Companies with experience in maintaining and calibrating instrumentation used for measuring radioactive contamination and ionisation radiation would find this tender particularly relevant. As the procurement is centred on ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in radiation detection, businesses offering high-quality service and competitive pricing will be well-suited to compete. Additionally, involvement in such a contract may enhance credibility and foster connections within the public sector.
