United Utilities are running this tender on behalf of the DSC, and the DSC is made up of United Utilities, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water and Dee Valley Water PLC. The river Dee is a critical supply of drinking water for many people in the North West of England and North Wales. Pollution is an ever-present risk.
