## Summary

The public procurement process involves the Procurement and Logistics Service on behalf of the Public Health Agency (PHA), which is seeking to contract for Relationship and Sexuality Education (RSE) services in community settings throughout Northern Ireland. The procurement falls under the category of health and social work services and aims to improve the sexual health of young people aged 12-19 years. The procurement is currently in the award stage, with contracts signed on 1st March 2022, covering a period of two years, with the possibility for extension for an additional two years. The procurement was initiated under the open procedure and includes three distinct lots focused on different age groups: 12-14 years, 15-16 years, and 17-19 years.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses in the health and education sectors, particularly those that specialise in youth services, sexual health education, and community engagement. Companies that can provide tailored RSE programmes and have experience working with young people will be well-positioned to compete for these contracts. With a substantial total contract value of approximately £1.6 million per lot, interested businesses should prepare to demonstrate their capability to deliver innovative and effective educational services aimed at improving community health outcomes in Northern Ireland.
