## Summary

The North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) is overseeing a tender for a comprehensive framework agreement to provide Security Services. The procurement process is at the 'tenderUpdate' stage, involving a range of services such as static and mobile guarding, door supervision, and CCTV management. The procurement falls under the services category with a focus on the security industry, classified under CPV code 79710000. Located in Leeds, United Kingdom, the contract is open to European Union funding avenues, among others, which may be explored throughout its implementation. The framework is set to conclude on 30 September 2026, after an amendment extended the end date from a prior conclusion date of 23 June 2026.

This framework presents lucrative opportunities for businesses within the security services domain, particularly those specialising in comprehensive guarding and security management services. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) stand to benefit significantly, as the procurement process permits their participation, ensuring a diverse competitive field. Given its extensive scope and substantial financial backing of £14,400,000, the tender is ideally suited for seasoned security providers capable of delivering consistent and multi-faceted services across the UK. Participating businesses will have access to a strategically important sector, offering potential partnerships with universities and other organisations, thereby facilitating business growth and stability through sustained service provision over the framework's duration.
