Lot 1

Anglian learning is a growing Multi Academy Trust operating in Cambridgeshire, west Suffolk and North Essex, formed in 2016. The Trust currently comprises 6 secondary schools and 8 primary schools, with 2 further primary schools likely to join the Trust and therefore this tender, with most school requiring a 1st September 2022 catering contract start (please see separate pdf called Schools and Sales Data for further detail here). Our members share the firm belief that successful learning communities are underpinned by ambitious vision, trust and strong inspirational leadership at all levels of the organisation; that excellence is not simply defined by Ofsted grades and league table positions; and that education can play a transformational role in the lives of children and the success and wellbeing of our wider society. Through membership of Anglian Learning, these goals are achieved by working with like-minded schools, leaders, teachers and all staff who are prepared to share responsibility, through support and challenge, to ensure that all our academies can offer an excellent education to all pupils, whatever their background and starting point. Secondary Schools: *Bassingbourn Village College *Bottisham Village College *Sawston Village College *Joyce Frankland Academy Newport *Linton Village College *The Netherhall School and Oakes Sixth Form College Primary Schools *Bottisham Community Primary School *Fen Ditton Primary School *Stapleford Community Primary School *Linton Heights Junior School *The Pines Primary School *Howard Primary Academy *Meadow Primary School *Icknield Primary School *Plus 2 new primary schools that may join the Trust during the tender process and will therefore be included in this tender process. Please also note that this is a growing Trust and should any other schools join this Trust during the course of this contract, these schools may, at the discretion of the client, be added to this contract. Please note that the Trust is ideally looking to appoint one contractor across all schools. However, each school reserves the right to make its own appointment decision and reserves the right not to appoint any contractor bidding for this contract. As a Trust who are continually seeking ways to improve and develop the ethos and environment for students and staff, to give them the facilities they deserve and need to meet the challenges of the 21st Century, any consideration regarding inward capital investment as part of the contractor's tender submission would be welcomed. Further information and parameters: *Please be advised that the Trust has a minimum requirement for a contractor's employers liability/ public liability and professional indemnity insurance of PS10m *The minimum annual turnover that your company must have achieved to be considered for this opportunity is PS5m *Please note that there are current members of incumbent staff in the Local Government Pension Scheme Please see the SQ document for more information.
