The initial proposal was to purchase Cohort version 10 through the Crown Commercial Service G Cloud framework. However, version 10 on the framework will not be available after 2021 and and the company has developed Health Cloud. The rationale for going straight to Health Cloud is that it will only be one building of the system and not require an immediate upgrade which buying a version that is about to be superseded would require.
