## Summary

The Hereward College is seeking tenders for its Catering Tender, aimed at providing catering services for students with disabilities and additional needs in Coventry. This procurement, classified under school catering services, operates as a selective procedure and is currently active. The contract is valued at £321,935 and spans from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2025, with a potential extension of up to two years. Interested suppliers must submit their responses by 7 January 2022 for the initial selection phase, with invitations for the second stage to be issued on 7 March 2022.

This tender represents an excellent opportunity for catering businesses, especially those specialising in dietary requirements and inclusive service provision. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) may find this particularly relevant as the contracting authority encourages participation from a diverse range of suppliers. Firms offering innovative food concepts that align with the college’s educational and dietary goals—such as locally sourced and healthy options—are well-suited to compete. This initiative not only supports the college’s mission to enhance student experience but also allows suppliers to develop long-term partnerships in the education sector.
