This prior information notice (PIN) is currently in the planning stage and informs the market of this new approach. The procurement process aims for a single Tier 1 supplier to streamline access for public sector customers, with an estimated value of £500 million. Interested parties should note that the final contract details will be confirmed in a forthcoming Contract Notice, with future communications expected by 31 March 2022. The emphasis on social value and community investment also opens avenues for businesses focused on environmental sustainability and equality initiatives. ## Notice Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place a pan Government Collaborative Agreement for the provision of Food & Drink to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations This will be an agreement managed with a single access point, using a single Tier 1 supplier as an umbrella to simplify the customer journey. This agreement will cover all public sector customers and all food and drink sub-categories, and we welcome the opportunity for single supplier's, a consortium or Special Procurement Vehicle (SPV)style approach to meet these requirements.
