A previous open tender procedure was carried out for this requirement (notice reference: 678818). Zero tenders were returned initially for Lot 1 - Supply of Transplants, Whips, & Feathered Trees and two tenders were returned for Lot 2 - Supply of Standard Trees & Other Trees however following evaluation both failed to pass the Council's pre-set threshold for quality. Lot 3 was responded to, evaluated and awarded. As this previous tender exercise failed to produce any successful tenders for both Lots 1 and 2 and the Council had demonstrated competition, the Council will award the Lots directly to the suppliers indicated in this notice.
