## Summary

The procurement process for the "Town Deals – Carlisle Library – Digital Community Learning Hub" project, initiated by Cumbria County Council, aims to transform an existing library space in Carlisle into a modern digital learning hub. This tender falls under the architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services category, with an active status following a completed award process. The tender was open for bids until January 5, 2022, aiming to enhance customer experience in a city centre location. The total contract value is approximately £180,000, and the project seeks to deliver a variety of educational and cultural services to the community.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in architectural and engineering services, especially those that demonstrate a commitment to diversity and have experience in creating inclusive public spaces. Ideal competitors would include firms that can provide a multidisciplinary team capable of managing extensive redesign and construction works, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and engaging with local communities. Companies with a focus on innovative, modern design approaches and a proven track record in delivering similar projects would be particularly well-suited to seize this opportunity.
