## Summary

NHS England is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of a Sexual Assault and Abuse Therapy Service in Dorset under the tender titled "Dorset Sexual Assault and Abuse Therapy Service". This procurement is classified under health and social work services, and it is currently in the planning stage. The tender process is expected to commence from February 2022, with a deadline for submissions set for 17 December 2021. The total contract value is approximately £938,000, with a duration of seven years, and the services will be delivered across the region of Dorset.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those equipped to offer trauma-informed therapeutic interventions. Providers who focus on mental health and are adept at serving diverse populations, including children, young people, and individuals with complex trauma, would be well-suited to compete. Additionally, the emphasis on inclusivity and cultural sensitivity suggests that businesses with experience in engaging under-represented groups will have a competitive advantage in this contract process.
