The execution of electronic monitoring and related services are governed by the provisions of the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000, the Power of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000, the Criminal Justice Act 2003 and the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008. MOJ are initiating this pre-market consultation prior to the anticipated competitive procurement for the provision of EM services across England and Wales, which currently has an expected Service Delivery Go Live date of January 2024. The intention of this pre-market engagement is to seek feedback and interest from suppliers across a range of aspects relating to the current and future service. This includes, but is not limited to the provision of: * Electronic monitoring platform(s) and application(s); * Network provision, including mobile technology; * Monitoring hardware supply and hardware support services; * Monitoring operations; * Field service operations; * Potential service structure; * Potential contracting arrangements. The MoJ is keen to engage with a range of providers that have an interest in some or all different aspects of the overall service, as either a lead or subcontractor, ahead of finalising Service design and developing tender specifications and associated documentation. Future Service Delivery of EM value and length are not set at this stage.
