## Summary

Digital Health and Care Wales has undertaken a tender to procure the BMJ e-Learning Platform, a digital learning service designed for various healthcare professionals, including hospital doctors and pharmacists. The procurement method used is a limited award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition, specifically guided by the recommendations of the NHS Wales e-Learning team. The contract worth £151,989.52 was signed on 29 November 2021, and the service's delivery location is in Cardiff, UK. This procurement process is now complete and focuses on the services sector, particularly in the area of e-learning.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in digital health services and e-learning platforms, particularly those that cater to healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines. Given that BMJ was identified as the sole supplier capable of meeting the specific needs outlined, businesses offering similar e-learning solutions or technologies may find it advantageous to learn from this procurement experience. Firms with expertise in creating accessible, accredited digital learning resources should consider positioning their offerings to align with the requirements set forth by health authorities like Digital Health and Care Wales.
