This document relates to The Electrical Inspection Testing and Reporting at Northampton General Hospital Trust (the Trust) by a third party supplier (the Contractor). This is to include (unless specified) all properties in direct control of the Estates Operations Team. The estate is operational 365 days per year, 24 hours per day and as such good communication, agreed programs of work and environment, health and safety are of paramount importance and must be always adhered to. The estate is constantly changing and as such flexibility and agility are expected from the Contractor. This document is to be used in conjunction with current IET Electrical standards, current HTM Guidance and the Trust terms and conditions plus any relevant document supplied as part of the tender / quotation process. This document addresses the operational aspects of the contract and expectations of the Trust in collaboration with the Contractor. The Facilities Directorate is made up of Estates (including Capital programmes), Hotel Services (Cleaning, Security, Linen, Portering and Travel Office) Sterile Services and Medical Equipment and totals over 500 staff providing all facilities functions in support of the Trust. This contract is managed by the Estates Team. Where the any assertion refers to the Estates nominated person / Estates Team member, this could also be a senior member of the Facilities Directorate or a nominated deputy
