## Summary

The public procurement process involves Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW), which is seeking to procure maintenance and support services for its Logi Analytics Business Intelligence Tools. This procurement is classified under the software support services category and is currently at the Award stage. The process, initiated as a restricted tender without prior publication of a call for competition, includes an active contract valued at £128,094, signed on 30 November 2021. The delivery of services is required for all DHCW sites across the UK and falls within the healthcare sector.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in software support services, particularly those experienced with business intelligence tools and data analytics systems. Companies that can demonstrate capability in maintaining and supporting Logi Analytics products would be well-positioned to compete for this contract. The tender emphasises the critical nature of the services provided, as they support essential functions in the Welsh health sector, especially in light of decision-making processes influenced by data analytics during the COVID pandemic.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Digital Health and Care Wales ("DHCW") is seeking to procure maintenance and support for the current estate of Logi Analytics Business Intelligence Tools. This is to cover various types of Logi analytics software licences including Logi Info Studio, Logi Info Core Server and Logi Analytics Platform.

### Procurement Information

The Logi Analytics BI Tools were originally procured via a mini competition under a Framework Agreement. During the contract term, Logi brought their sales in-house, which has impacted the renewal of the support for the Logi perpetual licences, as Logi are the only ones now able to provide this support. The features available through Logi, which are outlined below, are critical to the continued success of business intelligence reporting within DHCW. It is anticipated that this tool will be required to be supported for the medium term and this support cannot be secured "in house" due to the specialist nature of the solution. The Logi solution has been instrumental in embedding dashboards into key NHS applications at a national and local level across Wales to secure appropriate technical data in relation to the delivery of those services to the citizens of Wales. It has also facilitated the provision of data and intelligence to the Welsh Government to assist in the development of policy decisions in relation to the COVID pandemic. In the longer term as part of the NDR strategy a business decision will be made in terms of the technology required to support NHS Wales future analytics and reporting requirements.
