The framework will provide a comprehensive range of products for use within the acute care, long term care/nursing homes and home care/community, accessed either by a rental model, rent to buy or capital purchase. Further to the aforementioned products, the services within the scope of this procurement exercise cover decontamination, repair, maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and managed equipment service and other services related to the project. ### Lot Information Medical Beds & Associated Services Lot 1 will include medical beds. Tenderers will also be expected to provide decontamination, repair and maintenance services. Safe Patient Moving and Handling Supplies and Services Lot 11 is for the provision of Safe Patient Moving and Handling Equipment and associated services to include decontamination, repair and maintenance services and be able to offer a full managed service applicable to the products within this Lot. The scope of the agreement will include aiding the transport and support moving of patients and may be used in either a hospital, residential or patient home environment. The framework will include (but is not limited) to the following items: * Hoists / Patient Lifts * Standing Aids (both manual and electric) * Bathing Equipment * Transfer Equipment (Slings, Slide Sheets, Inflatable Devices) * Safe Patient Moving and Handling Managed Services. TERMS AND CONDITIONS / ACTIVITY BASED INCOME (ABI). The terms and conditions of this Framework Agreement and any resulting Call-Off contract is appended to the ITT. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this framework agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE.
