The County Council is exploring the option of funding available capacity within older persons extra care or sheltered accommodation settings to support individuals leaving hospital with low level care needs for immediate use. The aim of this capacity is to support the flow of individuals out of those Staffordshire hospitals experiencing high discharge pressures currently. A safe environment is needed for those individuals to regain their confidence to eventually move back to their home to live independently. The rooms would be required to be accessible, furnished, with on-site catering and staff to support the individual with low level care needs. The County Council are interested in knowing whether you have potential accommodation that could be explored.
