## Summary

The Plymouth and Torbay Community Equipment Services tender, run by Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council in partnership with healthcare organizations, focused on the delivery of community equipment services. The procurement stage was completed, with Nottingham Rehab Limited (trading as NRS Healthcare) being awarded the contracts. The tender aimed to address health and social care priorities in separate Local Authority areas. Key dates included the award on 6th October 2022, with a total contract value of £24,096,640.

This tender presents growth opportunities for organisations involved in health, social work services, and medical equipment sectors. Businesses offering solutions for community equipment services and related healthcare products would be well-suited to compete. Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council required active supplier participation in achieving social, economic, and environmental objectives. The tender process highlighted the importance of quality criteria, including stock management, premises, staffing, and social value commitments, alongside price considerations for supplier selection.
