## Summary

The public procurement process in question, titled "LBH - Prevention Services," was initiated by the London Borough of Havering, a regional authority located in Romford, UK. This procurement, classified under health and social work services, is currently at the contract award stage and reflects a commitment to offering preventative services in compliance with the Care Act. The contract awards were made on 13 October 2021, involving various specific service lots, including areas such as Physical Disability, Dementia, Mental Health, Older Frail, and Sustaining Carers. Notably, the methodology employed was an open procurement procedure.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses, particularly those operating within the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS), as it focuses on delivering essential health and social services to vulnerable populations. Companies adaptable to meeting the quality standards set forth in the procurement process, particularly those specialising in support for individuals with physical disabilities, dementia, and mental health needs, will find this an attractive opportunity. The contracts awarded suggest that organisations of both large and small scales can participate, especially those such as charities or service providers with a strong local presence and understanding of community needs.
