## Summary

The Peterborough City Council is conducting a Soft Market Test for the Pseudo Framework concerning the Provision of Care in the Home, which includes homecare, supported living, and extra care services in Peterborough and its surrounding areas. This event is part of the planning stage of the procurement process and aims to engage with potential providers to discuss the upcoming framework and procurement requirements. A Virtual Supplier Event will be held on 28th January 2022 at 10am, with a registration deadline for interested parties set for 26th January 2022 at 12 noon. The framework falls under the health and social work services category, classified under CPV code 85000000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the health and social care sector, particularly those specialised in homecare services, supported living, and extra care provisions. Companies interested in participating should have relevant experience in delivering care services, as the council is keen to engage with providers who can contribute to shaping the service specification based on their expertise. Additionally, businesses that engage in this soft market testing may gain valuable insights into future procurement processes conducted by Peterborough City Council, despite there being no guarantee of an invitation to subsequent procurement phases.
