### Procurement Information

RM3786 expressly allows NHSD to directly award legal services contracts to such of the panel firms which NHSD deem best capable to provide services. As such, we can implement this direct award through CCNs under existing contracts with DAC Beachcroft (DACB) and in accordance with PCR Regulation 72.1(a). Extending the contracts under the existing CCS framework, has additional value for money benefits for the NHS as it allows NHSD to continue to call on DACB at lower rates since the rates on the new Legal Services Panel RM6179 have increased between 3-11%.
