## Summary

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is conducting a procurement process for the "Heat Pump Ready: Stream 3 - Trial Support and Learning" project, classified under research and development services. This procurement is currently in the award stage, with a total contract value of £3,744,157.38, signed on 15th June 2022. The project aims to enhance collaboration and knowledge transfer across the Heat Pump Ready Programme, with activities focused in the UK. The procurement was undertaken using an open procedure and has already attracted multiple bids.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses, particularly those specialising in environmental services, project management, and knowledge sharing, to engage with a major government initiative aimed at increasing heat pump deployments. Companies with experience in conducting research, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, or contributing to energy efficiency projects would find this opportunity particularly suitable. As BEIS is interested in innovative approaches for supporting its Net Zero Innovation Portfolio, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate.
