The project is set to be open market tendered in early May 2022, we are seeking a main works construction contractor able to complete the design and construct the facilities through a design and build contract route. The design will be completed to RIBA Stage 4a at the stage of tender. The main works construction contractor is to complete the design and deliver construction for the scheme to RIBA Stage 7. The construction work is set to commence on site in Autumn 2022 following contract award. The works are due for completion in late Spring 2024. The anticipated contract works value is approximately PS13m. The new sports centre will be approximately 3,000m2 over two storeys and will include both wet and dry leisure facilities.
